aaalright...so i'm trying to remember all of the things ive been doing in NZ (mostly Auckland) so i'll start with the most recent. Friday morning, me and Chris (CDN) and Callie and Allison (USA) rented a car and took off for the Bay Of Islands (google image it) about 3.5hrs north of Auckland. Went to a little place called Paihia beautiful little town where we pitched a tent at a hostel called the Pickled Parrot. We took a day trip to a tiny town across the bay called Russell, once known as the 'Hell Hole of the Pacific' for its bars and brothels etc. Unfortunately that time has come and gone and its a pretty sleepy little place. But we took a short walk to a beach known as Long Beach and the scenery amusingly enough looked like the BC coast. (The blog picture isnt it) I'll get some pics on here soon. So we just hung out on the beach and chilled. Went back to Paihia and had a bbq, drinks etc. thyen made our way back to Auckland today. It was great to get out of Auckland for a bit. I'll be here till monday then i'm gettin the hell outta here. I've overstayed my welcome in this town, a few days is enough, two weeks is too much unless your planing to stay and work. Anywhoo, i'm gonna have to go back and look in my journal to fill in my prior Auckland exploits. I will do that before I head out of town. Time to start heading south. Coromandel, Hamilton, Raglan, Rotorua,Taupo...etc. down to Wellington.
