IN TRUE SMILEY KYLIE FORM......i woke up saturday morning.....the day im leaving...flying....jetting across the other side of the world to embark on a new journey...new adventure...and i have yet to pack my bags.....even worse...i left a basket of my washing back in seven hills.....so......

After reluctantly getting up i took a drive to seven hills....in my pj's no less....picked up my washing and drove home....still bags unpacked...i then took a drive to lansvale to pickup the last of my meds for my trip....and got home ... still not packed.....and in a last ditch attempt to get my last yum cha fix we all decide to go and have yum cha for brunch.....bags still not packed.....so.....at 12:15.....i get home and my sisters , mum and Lj all madly help me to pack in 15 mins.....what a challenge!

Let me tell you...we got it done.....but in the mad rush...i forgot my mobile at home :( but i am happy to say that i have now purchased my very own UK phone....with my own mobile number..... +00117503983181

but even before all of this drama....my mate alex and i were supposed to fly on the same flight....but my quoted flights (whch is what i told him i was going on) didnt end up being the final flights i paid for...so on the morning of our trip....we realise we arent flying together....and both flights were completely booked....so.....we had to just deal with the fact that we wouldnt be flying together!! :(

so we were on our way to the airport....with kahlia, jade, mum, Lj, hurrem and Andy in tow....i was at the airport and booked in....with just enought time to grab a quick coffee....have one final last dare....because we all know how i cant resist a good dare! so kahlia deicdes i need to ask a random if he was a real cowboy.....all because of his cowboy hat...can i say.....his response of "i get to be whatever i want on the weekend" was enough for me to feel satisfied the dare was a success LOL.....anyways... the moment was finally here......wher ei had to say goodbye...and i am so bad at goodbyes.....actually i suck.....so with all the tears...and hugs...and double hugs...i forced myself to walk up the ramp and then off through customs....i actually....just made the departure lounge as they were boarding! i must say it was one hectic morning!!

Then there was the flight! 20 hours near a family of children who decided it would be fun to get in and out of their seats....boy it was grand...and to make it even better my Ipod earphones didnt work....and all i wanted to do was listen to some of my fav songs....but....it was all good...i was able to sleep most of it....and awoke to London, heathrow airport..... :P

i met alex on the other end as his flight got in an hour after mine....and i got to meet his family....who will be kind enough to let me stay at their place later in the trip....but once hello and goodbyes were done it was off to the underground......and what a trip that was....

with the blonde over here and the crazy underground system....i managed to get onto 4 incorrect trains before i finally made it to west ham where i was staying with julie and stacey for a few nights....i tell you....i think the subway is awesome now having conquered its crazy system....lol....

so i am in west ham....and i was able to catch up on some much needed sleep and got to hang out with julie and stacey...i had a blast...and the last night was fantastic pizza...beer....who can complain really....and even better julie and stacey have found their local pub! woot woot!

and now we are to today....where i succesfully caught the underground into russel square without a hitch...and managed to find my way to a hostel....and find oxford street to get that needed mobile and some other necessities.... and succesfully turn up to my pre departure meeting....

CONTIKI IS TOMMOROW!! ARGHHHHHHH.....

and with saying that...i will leave you all.....because im sure the next story will be even better than this...so stay tuned!
