Week 2 Brisbane
So this week has been about getting settled into brissy, and working.
Work was tough this week because we were on one truck instead of two. Some guy ran into the back of a parked truck going supposedly 50kph... Which he obviously didn't seeing as his entire car was inverted. Lucky him he didn't die.
But we made do and I pulled my weight well.
But there were a couple of sweet jobs . For example we were removing a fridge that wasn't working from the balcony of a unit. As we started wheeling it away a possum bursted out from the bottom and ran into the trees. However it's child was left in the bottom of the fridge. And it was scared and hung in around the compressor and wiring like ace Ventura and that raccoon he tried not to drop.
So for 20 minutes I was trying to pull out this baby possum basically using it as a tug-o-war rope. All the while the mother is having a seizure trying to decide whether or not she should jump on my face and rip out my eyes with a pencil.
Anyway the mother stayed put and I got the baby possum out and put it on the tree with its mother and they lived happily ever after (I think)
Unfortunately some jobs werent so nice... But I ll keep those to myself haha.
Oh I also burnt the s*** out of my hand preparing soup. I thought I would chuck that in so that this week could have a cool cover photo.
