hey simon! bj told me that you had some web journal about your travels through s. america, so while you are probably surfing the waves along some exotic coast, i am surfing the web trying to find your site... and here it is! so, it sounds incredible what you are doing down there. i am jealous of you, since only a year ago i was right around where you were--- traveling through peru (macchu picchu, puno, lake titicaca, copacabana), bolivia (la paz, curoico, salar de uyuni), argentina (la boca, buenos aires), and chile (which i haven't heard you mention, but you should definitely go!!). anyways, we have lots to talk about when you get back. i am leaving to volunteer for a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in los angeles. i am working with central american immigrants in the legal department at place called CARECEN. i am pumped to say the least. well, hope you are well. talk to you soon!

I finally found your journal! Sounds awesome - too bad you got sick - comes with the territory I guess. I'm thinking about coming to Brazil in August...
