Arrive at queen Elizabeth national park at half past 8 last night. Took a back entrance in which means we followed a very rough track for over an hour. The track ran along the mountain edges of the crater lakes. Spectacular views but couldn't look too much, was really scared!! The sun set at about half 7 so travelled a while in complete darkness saw a herd of elephants on the way in as they were crossing the road in front of us.

Stayed in a youth hostel Friday night and up at 6 for a game drive this morning. Saw buffalo, created crane, elephants and more (I can't remember their names!)

Manages to book into the 5 star safari lodge next door for this evening. We're in a beautiful cottage! Sat sunbathing next to the pool now looking over lace Edward. Can see hippos bathing in the lake :)

Off for a 2 hour boat ride around the lake tomorrow then heading out. Have a 6 hour journey to the airport so driving 3 hours tomorrow. Will stop somewhere on the way back. Then 3 hour drive on Monday to the airport.
