Our first weeks seem so long ago but of course need a mention. Laura and Oscar were sick on the plane, I only got to watch one film...I was livid. Never have I held a full bag of vomit before, thanks Laura- she has looked after me many times since. The pics are from when we took Oscar to the local preschool. Neither him nor the 60 kids knew what to make of it. But from day one he has been a celebrity, although most people don't know if he is a girl or a boy, but I'm forever told he looks like me, so not sure what that makes me. One of the pictures show him being stroked and there was a fair bit of chanting, I don't think it was a voodoo curse but he did end up getting banned from the school...to much of a stir. All in all the first few weeks went like a blur. Oscar settled in quickly and that allowed us to get to work.
