Love those pics great to see you both are enjoying yourselves. Those ruins are amazing n those birds are so pretty. Please keep posting those pictures n thanks for updating us your whereabouts. Keep safe n take care. We are all good here. Didn't have a great break but all good. We miss you guys a lot. Lots of Love from us all mum, dad, Dannah, deb, John and little Eva :))) xxxxooo
You two outrun lava? Ha. That's a laugh... You'd probably outrun James but that's about it (you both look like you're eating well-hehe).
Tell dad not to worry... It's in San Cristobal which is about 2 hours north west of us! People were evacuated from a radius of 1.8 miles from the base of the volcano so shouldnt b a problem! James and I are certain we can out run lava anyway :)
Hey, volcanoes erupting on nicaragua?? Dads having a mini heart attack... Hahaha. When r u leaving from there?
No we didn't go in! It's was pretty busy with Christmas masses etc:) I'm sure if we see an amazing one we will be sure to peek around. Leaving lake Ometepe tomorrow and going to Granada! It's is an old colonial style town! Should get some amazing pictures from there! Hope all is well with everyone! Lots of love Sare and James
Great photos and looks so beautiful where you were and where you are now!
glad to see a bit of Church building in the mix!! Did you go inside and check it out....you sometimes find some art gems in the most unlikely places.
Enjoy the Island it looks a geographical wonder in the middle of the lake two volcanoes very unusual

Ps I should have said love Mum and Dad last message.
Anyhow was lovely to hear you today and hear your news. I am sure this next part will be so exciting...James as you haven't been there before so all a new experience for you both.
If you pass any old churches have a peek inside...they will have quite a history of the region and are often quite beautiful and so different from here. Even some of the smaller ones can be a surprise and quite beautiful.
I am off to the coast on the bus for a day tomorrow to see an old school friend at Tomakin...a long day but will be nice.
Well heaps of love from us both xxxooo
