We arranged yesterday to go on a Trip to Tigre, the tour guide was to meet us in reception at 9am. As i'd drunk my boady weight in Mojitos 6 hours previously I felt like being left in my bed to rot! Somehow I managed to drag my corpe down to breakfast for Strawbeery Milkshake and Jam Sandwiches (a hostel delicacy). The tour guide met us in reception and we walked to our tour bus, which either had s*** suspension or the roads here are crap! The mixture of being flung around and last nights Mojitios resulted in me projecting that mornings pink bready delight out the bus window... my Dad was less than impressed. Tigre is amazing, we went on a boat along the river where there are houses and restuarants etc all on stilts along the river banks. The only was of accessing them is by boat, even the school bus is a boat. If people who live in the house want to order groceries they hang a red flag outside their house and a boat brings the food to them. Iḿ off to Peru tomorrow night to join my tour for the Jungle, Inca Trail and Lake Titicaca... I can't wait. I can't imagine they have internet access or phone signal in the rainforest so I doubt I will get chance to update for a while.
