Day 5 Back to the boats down the river to the main camp and a canopy walk today. I must remember to start taking my malaria tablets today! I have not moved out of bed so I don't know how sore I am yet! ...OW!!! Well we made it back to the boats in about a third of the time it took us to walk to camp two days earlier. It was a good pace back. First there was Dave, David, Triv and me... Then Dave and David dropped me and Triv off by about 5 mins. Took my boots...

Day 1 continued. On the flight from Kula Lumpur to Borneo (first leg) I met Dr Zazali. He told me all about the three times he has climbed Mt Kinabalu.... So he got his laptop out and showed me the pictures. He made it look like a WAY bigger challenge than I thought!!! But he is a great guy and he has given me confidence for my climb.
