Well...Happy New Year you lucky devils...we've just been for a walk at Dawlish Warren with Leanne on her 29th birthday and it was freezing! Still I guess we expect it. Love the pictures. We went to the beach a few days ago... dressed up like eskimos, and about 44 farenheit not celsius!
It looks superb out there, so keep the pics going. Maisie loves looking at the pictures of Finn.

Hi U 3
This is my 2nd attempt - thought I'd posted a message just before Christmas but seems I went wrong somewhere!! Glad you had such a wonderful 1st Christmas in Oz.... I know it's different but I'm sure I could get used to anything that involves sun, sea & sand as opposed to turkey, sprouts & indigestion!! Love looking at your photos & blog. Just heard that your Mum & Dad are heading out to see you soon - I could hide in their cases as I'm unemployed at the moment.... but then who would feed the hungry Doe Boys?? I'll stop there for now, just want to check that it works this time, before I launch into a great long espistle!!
Loads of Love... keep up the good work on this site!!

It was brilliant speaking to you all today. Finlay sounded so excited that Santa Claus had been and had not only eaten all the carrots but had left magic dust aound the house - what a wonderful age. This blog is a fantastic way to keep in touch - your pictures and comments are fabulous - and those, along with family and friends' comments have brought tears to our eyes (in more ways than one).
Many thanks for the emailed photos of your Christmas Day 'on the beach'. It's still Christmas Day here but whilst writing this you should be just waking up on Boxing Day - I guess to start the day with more pancakes, sun and surf!!!
Will try to email a few snaps of our English Christmas, especially Nan & Grandad playing with Dave & Gilley's Wii!! A sight to behold.
We've raised a glass or two or three to you today - just wish we could send a hug with this message but will speak again soon.
Watch out for those spiders and sharks! Take care. With all our Love for Christmas. Mum, Dad, Dave, Gilley, Nan, Grandad & Jazzie. xxx

Lovely to have sight of your blog, excellent stuff. Nice p**** but don't like spiders. You all look great and seemed to have settled in nicely. Like the uniform Rich; what happened to the hat, can't see it. Is that a gun in your pocket or ..........................?? Thinking of you all over the Christmas, we will certainly raise a glass or two, or three. You will of course start your celebrations before us; 2 hours time I think, in which case have a super time and loves you lots.
Take care. Al & She xx
Dave And Gilly
Hello you four!
Oakley looks really cool and Gilly is now pestering me to get a cat. Jazzy is missing you but has settled in really well, she already own's the joint! Hope you are all nice and warm out there. Just got back from surfing with Andy at Bantham, we had a good surf but you know your not surfing in Oz when there is ice on the sand and you have to de-ice the car when you get back to it!
Speak to hopefully on Christmas day. When are you sorting your web cam out so we can see the dude?
