Hi to you all (baby Mallett may have arrived before you recieve this!)
12 months on - you were just spending the first day 'down under'.
Looking through your photos on the blog so much has happened since then. The last pics tell us so much. Great house and area, wonderful opportunities, fab weather, fun, laughter and a growing circle of friends and family. What a year!!
Just posting this message to wish you all the luck and happiness in the world for your next chapter.
Happy Birthday to you all - Richard on the 9th, Lindsay on the 16th and Finlay on the 19th - just waiting to find out which date in November for 'baby bump'.
Love, hugs and kisses to you all xxx

Hi
Good to see that Finn's taste in music is developing!! Great video & no trace of an Aussie accent as yet? Glad to hear that you are all doing so well. Heard about your imminent move from Your Mum & Dad (Lindsay) - sounds wonderful, with water-frontage etc. We had a fantastic trip to California / Nevada but finding the weather here challenging, to put it mildly. Gale force winds & rain most of the time since we came home.
Anyway - take care & keep up the good work with the Blog.
Lots of Love - The Doe tribe. xxx

Hi to you three - Oh and bump
At last our computer has allowed us access to that world wide web we hear so much about! We have had problems for months - It was worth the wait though - what a treat Finlay - you've grown so much since we were with you all in April. Not only photos but video too Reminded us of all the singing we did whilst on our travels with you in the truck. Only problem is - Grandma's singing doesn't improve so I won't promise to return a tune!!!
We are hoping someone will be coming to fix the internet next week. We'll then try to organise the web cam and by then you may have settled into your new abode and we could chat on line.
The months have flown since we were with you and we foolishly thought it would become summer when we returned - well we seemed to have skipped that season this year. We could definitely cope with your winter in preference to our summer - 20+ during the day and 3 degrees at night sounds great.
Hoping for a dry day on Friday for Dan & Monica's wedding. Chris, Rachel and Imogen are at Stoke this week - can't believe it was their wedding a year ago. They all send their love and wanted to hear all your news.
Hope you are all keeping well and bump is behaving itself. How are Richard's exams going?
We are hoping to have some time at the caravan beginning of September - have only stayed one night this year. First time in about 30 years we haven't been there all summer. I've certainly missed everyone - the company, walks, swimming, boating, eating, and of course night caps whilst watching the stars with everyone. Have also developed the SAD syndrome through lack of sunlight.
Well time to get some shut eye. Take care of yourselves. Many thanks for posting those photos on the blog and the suprise video. Miss you all .
Finlay - Grandma and Grandad send lots of hugs and kisses
Love to you all for now

Hi Guys,
I know Tiff has been keeping in touch via Facebook, or Faceplant or whatever it is, but thought we would send you a quick message on this.
Is it worth asking how everything is or is it still just 'kin Great!!!
We are loving the pictures of Finn in his wetsuit, you must show him pics of Maisie in hers (pics on Faceplant/book!) It could be the bug wetsuit face off, however Finn will win the prize for warmer seas.
Tiff and I have taken up surfing... (Yes, Tiff as well, she loves it totally hooked!!) in readiness for our Oz trip... Sorry did we tell you that you'll have to put up with us one day..ha ha!
All is well here, trying not to let the British summer get us down to much, there is always a positive in everything, at least Tiffs' new veggie patch is growing well!
Tiff starts her new college course in Sept. and at the same time I am on my VIP driving course so I guess she will be able to 'Therapise' me after... :o)
Maisie is doing really well she is loving being in the 'Big Group' at nursery has started ballet and is starting swimming lessons so I guess our life will be pretty busy ferrying her about!
Loving catching up on this site, keep it up, we DO read it!!
Glad it's all going well, and hope the baby bump is behaving!!
Loads of love, us 3.

Hello you guys! (i sound like one eyed willy from the goonies!)
Its your little bro here (uncle Dave). I am currently sat in school at parents evening waiting for the next parent to turn up.
Good news linds about your course. sounds like it will be great. I have been having a bit of gip with my wisdom tooth and been trying to find a dentist so thats worked out nice! It might even work out cheaper popping over to see you over in oz than have it done here.
Oh i better go cause i think my next appointment has walked in. I'll send a longer message later. Send my love to Rich and Fin.
Speak to you later
Miss you three!

Hello from Priston ....... We follow your adventures in your new home and are so pleased to hear everything is going well and Richard is being appreciated for his dedication to the job. Hope Fin has now settled at play school and is no longer upset. Its a bank holiday weekend here ..... its pouring with rain, thunder and lightening and very cool so things are quite normal. I'm off to Uganda in July to visit a children's home and school, and then Perry and I are off to the States in August staying with friends in Utah - its going to be a busy summer for us.
Haven't spoken to Mum and Dad since they returned home but I bet they had a wonderful time with you. Hope to catch up with them soon.
All for now with our love to you all Vivienne and Stanley

Hi
Hope you had agreat time with your visitors. How long did they stay with you?
We've actually had some sunny weather in the past week, though the temp dropped by over 10 degrees again yesterday! Chris took us out sailing on a 41ft yacht last Sunday & it was wonderful. He skippers this yacht on corporate days etc & was told he could borrow it anytime, to take us out. We sailed way out past Old Harry Rocks but the wind died down & we had to motor back, but we had a wonderful day. He's teaching on a different boat tomorrow & Sunday - a Day Skipper course I think! Forecast is for rain & very little wind though, so it will take them a while to reach Lymington & Cowes as planned.
Well - we really love seeing your pics & reading blogs - keep up the good work. We've just bought a new computer & now tghings happen much faster!! I'll try & send you some pics too. Hope you are all keeping well.

Hi You Three
Just been looking at your pics again, keep up the good work. Ian & I just had a lovely week in Barbados but back to cold reality now!! Chris is away sailing for his university in the National Keel Boat Championships - doing very well last I heard! Steve breaks up today for Easter so he'll be happy. Just wish it would warm up a bit here! The boys are making a new consol;e for our Boston Whaler - hope the weather will do it justice this summer & they 'll have a chance to master the art of wake-boarding in Poole Harbour. I'm still a lady of leisure but need to get a job soon or the holiday fund will be empty after California in the summer! need to start refilling it for Oz! Any way - take care & don't eat too many easter eggs!
Love Aunty Sally & Uncle Ian XXXX
PS, when you get a chance - would love to see some more pics of your new home!!
