Hi Siobhan, I've enjoyed seeing your photos on FB and it looks like you've had an amazing time so far. I'm sure you'll have a great time in Australia and I hope you get to travel and see as much as you can. Hopefully we can Skype sometime while you're with Hayley. Take care, Alison xxx

So my lovely, you gave them bananas, and they gave you poo!!! I suppose that's the way of the world, when the lullaby needs a bit of practice!! :-) Is this really my little girl doing all these amazing things, am so impressed?? I read your blog update in France at the weekend and even on my BB I couldn't help but have a big smile on my face, you have a wonderful way of making the accounts of your travels so interesting and funny. No doubt you'll look at elephants in a different way, from now on!
Have a great time with Becky, keep on enjoying the fantastic sounding food, take care and keep in touch.Let me know if you're going near Ko Samui, great island!
Btw, well done with the award, it's good to hear that your time at Uni wasn't just one way.
Miss and love you so much.

Hi my lovely Siobhan, and how smart and proud you look in your uniform! :-) So pleased to read how much you're enjoying your time at the school and your stay in the 'cool' town, despite certain pupils and the curfew! Sounds very different from here, but glad to hear that you're getting on so well with all around you, making new friends and still enjoying the food! All makes for a life changing experience. Lovely day here, Wimbledon starting, England out of the European cup and flood alerts still in place!! So a normal summer!!
We're all missing you and eager to read more about your adventures, especially Nan and Lil, who still haven't got their heads around what a blog is! We're all so proud of you and so glad that you're having such a wonderful time.
Take care, look after yourself, enjoy and have lots of fun.
All my love, Dad xxxx

Siobhan has now safely arrived in Laos, ready to start her volunteering teaching children. She has found an internet cafe...with a very dodgy service using a very sticky keyboard (yuk)!! She is trying desperately to update this blog and to upload some pictures for us to see, but without much success :( She is meeting the other volunteers that have already arrived for dinner tonight and has already met the co-ordinator who also has the surname Feeney!! Keep checking this for an update, sure she will be successful soon! She was pleased to see all the messages so far :)

Update until SIobhan can get internet access.... She has now left Africa and is en route to Laos to start her 2 week volunteering teaching children. She was lucky enough to do a short safari before she left and saw lots of animals so hopefully she will have lots of pictures to post of that and of course Kilimanjaro :)
Nan & Lil
