I'm now in Melbourne, got here last night from Canberra.  After Brisbane I went to Byron Bay for a couple of days which were spent going out in the evening to the legendary Cheeky Monkeys, and then either doing some walking or lazing around on the beach in the daytime. Have now arrived in Brisbane after an awesome Fraser Island trip. I got the bus overnight down from Airlie Beach to Rainbow Beach and must have got about 7 hours sleep which was a bonus! I ended up in Cairns for about 10 days, basically met a cool gropu of people and spent far too much time going out with them and stayed until they left Cairns too.
