Urlaub ist schon was schönes...
I am back at the sea, drinking Spritz, looking at the Piazza and listen to terrible techno music. Back to civilization. I indeed did not find accommodation along the trail, so finally I had to hitchhike back to the nearest touristy place: Finale Ligure.
Since I think that the situation will not improve at all, I decided to end this hike today and instead spent tomorrow a day at the beach and afterwards do some sightseeing in Genoa.
Anyway, today was a last wonderful hike through beechwood forest and to the top of the Monte Carmo. I met 2 people (Germans again) at the summit, which took a picture of me and one horse in the woods (I took a picture of him/her).
That's about it. The guy who gave me a lift, was a restaurant owner, who was collecting (or buying) mushrooms in the area where I hiked. Very nice person- as most of the people I met here. Only my Italian is so bad for conversation.
Anyway, altogether I walked about 130 km and experienced a lot of loneliness, but also great scenery , helpful people, and (of course, I am in Italy) great food.
Arrivederci! Thanks for joining my blog. Looking forward to see you all in person soon again.
Ciao!
