O.k so wild life is not really the reason for my entry here. It is the starting point of Peters holiday with me Simon as his carer/companion. We will leave Norwich on the 10o clock flight to Amsterdam and after a beer or three will fly on to Venice. That is hopefully where I will add the next entry. So Norwich, Norfolk, its not THE most exciting place in the world, but for a small county with a small city as its center of comerce etc, it has most of what you would want on a day to day basis. The county, although thought of as flat is actually far from it. Lincolnshire is the very flat one, Fenland. Anyone who thinks that Norfolk is flat, try a cycle ride for a week round it!! There are areas of outstanding beauty, wildlife and stretches of wonderful and diverse coastline. The population is growing fast, the city of Norwich is now one of the best shopping centers and nightlife centers in the country. So why does it seem like I am trying to sell Norwich and Norfolk, well I'm not, but I am proud of where I live and If you are traveling around the U.K, give it a look. Don't try to compare it to the bigger cities, don't expect mountainous regions of Scotland,Wales or the Lake District, just accept it for the beautiful county that it is. Well see you in Venice. TTFN.
