Well, we can now officially start the blog seem as though we have actually left the country! Flight to Singapore was very uneventful...just the usual turbulence, lightning storms and little kid kicking the back of your seat. Best thing was half way through the flight, the kid moved so instead of kicking my chair, kicked Emma's and that went down well =P
Almost forgot that one of our carry on bags got pulled up at the security check point in Perth. We had to empty everything out of it and then the bag and contents had to go through twice separately...no idea what they thought they saw the first time but in the end we repacked everything and went on our way. It will be interesting to see whether we get pulled up again here in Singapore.
We watched Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2. I had brought the copy Cheryl gave me as I was yet to watch it and it turned out I have now seen it. But will watch it again in slightly larger form! We had some Burger King and had a look in the Butterfly Gardens - only butterflies we saw were dead on the floor (still very pretty) or had broken wings. Maybe it's actually a rehab clinic...
We have also bought a new pedometer. The one I paid $6.99 for at Kmart said Em took about 100 steps sitting to eat her lunch so we splashed out with all the Singapore coin I had collected and bought a slightly better one =P. We will keep you updated on our daily step count...obviously not including today. We are currently waiting for our gate to open for the security check point thingy so we can have some sleep. I am sooooooooooooooo tired...
P.S. Mum, the Phenergan is great!
