Hi!

Sorry it's taken so long but finding an internet connection is not as easy as I'd thought!

I landed in Australia nearly 2 weeks ago and not much has happened. On my first day here I took a job on a farm in Stanthorpe doing apple threading - that is threading 130m of heavy duty netting onto steel wire to protect the apple trees forom theiving birds. I only did it for 1 day before leaving to visit my Auntie Jo here in Hervey Bay.

I am currently looking for a waitressing job in the area, but there doesn't seem to be much as it is still quiet, being spring and not yet the busy summer season. We are heading south to Noosa next week to try my luck there.

Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to take photos so there aren't any yet but will try to remember from now on!

Not missing the British weather at all - it has only rained twice since I've been here for about 5mins at a time, and on both occasions it was the middle of the night!
