Hi!

So, it's raining today, so I think I will be catching up on my sleep. It's not too bad thankfully, as it's still warm so I'm actually enjoying the relief from the heat. I never thought I'd say that I don't mind the rain (as I normally hate it at home) but it's actually enjoyable here!

I had a lovely morning swim before it started pouring too! :D

I discovered that Woolworths still has a place here though it's much more like Sainsbury's than the Woolies we used to know and love!

Probably going to book a tour to Kakada National Park tomorrow - I just hope it doesn't rain all day like today! Well, I have a pac-a-mac in my suitcase somewhere, so at least it will get used at least once :D

Apparently we're in the wet season at the moment, so the weather is quite unpredictable. It can rain all day, or it can just rain for half an hour and then be beaming sunshine for the rest of the day. We actually had a bit of a thunderstorm yesterday evening, though only a little one. There was some lightning over the resort, but nothing too spectacular.

I seem to have attracted some attention from the boys at the reception desk as well - probably because I seem to be the only single female in this place!! There were another couple of girls by the pool yesterday, but they didn't look too, err, homely. One of them had a tattoo each on the back of her legs, just above her knees....yikes.

One of the chaps I was talking to pointed her tattoo's out to me and even said, 'they look a bit - how's yer father?' - hahahahhahahahaha!!

So, that's it for Darwin for the moment. I'm still on the lookout for another camera cable for my digital camera because, dope that I am, forgot it at home!! I have a few pictures uploaded from my phone, so that will have to do for now. Though the albums on here aren't that great....so I'll have to swap to Flickr when I get my cable. I think that's about the only thing that I did forget that is actually very useful. Oh well, never mind, Im'm sure I can procure one from somewhere though I'll wait until I get to Melbourne I think, otherwise I'll just have to get it sent to me!!
