Some days are just plain awesome. It's as simple as that. Today was one of the (if not THE) most enjoyable day ever! :) We took a long metro ride to Guangzhou safari, which is the biggest one in Asia! And it is big. Took an horrific taxi ride to Chongqing airport and had a short 2 hour flight to Guangzhou. Today we went to see Ciqikou (the porcelain village), situated on the bank of the Jialing river, some 15 km out of hongqing. The old village was turned into a cute tourist attraction with lots of Sichuanese style shops, selling more-of-the-same stuff you can find in other provincial towns and villages. Took a train from Chengdu to Chongqing and started getting used to rural areas Chinese people. They're certainly less "polished" than their city cousins, as can be expected, but we always felt safe and welcome. :) The train took apx 2 hours (350 km) and the course of the travel was insane.
