After an uneventful but good flight we landed in sunny Mumbai.
We were the first ones off the plane and into immigration and baggage claim, changed some money and headed for our ride to the hotel.
The hotel upgraded our ride to a very nice BMV series 5 car.
We arrived to the hotel at 9:30 in the morning and after a security screening, we were cheked in privately in our suite.

Our Imperial suite, the hotel`s grandest is a 180 square meters two bedroom suite with a living room, dining room, office,kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 5 TV sets. The suite is stunning in design.
After some relaxation in the lounge, we got a taxi to south Mumbai and toured the city for a couple of hours. The gateway of India, the Taj hotel and the Victoria terminus were nice, but the city IS hectic.
It took us almost an hour to get back to the hotel by a horrible ride. A quick shower and off to a cocktail party and a late dinner.
Thus ends our first day in India. :-)
