Zvi Josef's Travels
Arrived to Prague very early.
The airport was a breeze and within 10 minutes of getting off the plane we were comfortably seated in our limo.
Drive to the hotel took some 20 minutes (crazy limo driver!) and we arrived at the Hilton Old Town at apx. 9:30AM.
The hotel looks nice and we were given lounge access while waiting for our room, so we had breakfast at the lounge.
Our room was then ready - we were upgraded from an executive plus room to a a junior suite (thanks to our HHonors Gold status) and later on the day (due to some severe disturbances in our room), we were upgraded twice more, to a huge governor suite. Sweet! :)
The hotel is located in the middle of the old town, which makes a very short walk to all the old town attractions.
We thought about going to a concert in the evening, but were too tired to do it, so we spend the entire day exploring all the attractions in the old town.
We had 2 breaks at the hotel - for an afternoon tea and pre-dinner snacks.
We had dinner at the hotel's Zinc restaurant, which was nice. Not spectacular, but nice, yet expensive for Prague's prices.
The weather has been lovely throughout the day, but in the late afternoon it became really chilly and a bit rainy. Oh, well. :)
Tomorrow we're off to the jewish Quarter and the new city.
Happy Sukkot everyone. :)
