Zvi Josef's Travels
Woke up to yet another beautiful morning in Singapore, had breakfast and started getting ready to check out of the hotel, only to realize we had a slight over weight problem. But worry not, everything was packed into our carry on's so that overweight wouldn't be an issue.
We took a taxi to Singapore's beautiful airport, and went on a flight to Siem Reap.
Upon arrival, the small international airport in Siem Reap looked more like a resort rather than an airport. :)
Took a taxi to the hotel, during which the driver convinced us to buy a tour from him for tomorrow for the entire day. Since it was dead cheap and the driver was nice with a think recommendations book in his taxi - we took it.
We arrived to the hotel to find out it IS as beautiful as we hoped it'd be, and yeah, our Junior Suite was upgraded to a massive 90 square meters of a prestige Suite. Yay!!! :)
We also got a lot of fruits and some crackers, plus a personal gift. :)
The hotel grounds look absolutely stunning with a huge lake in the middle of the hotel.
We strolled a bit in the hotel and decided to go to the pool - the biggest in Cambodia - and a very nice one, too. :)
15 minutes into our pool-time, while in the water, a semi-typhoon hit, with amazing winds and unreal amounts of rain. It was superb!
We waited for the storm to pass, went out of the water, into our room, a quick shower and then headed to a lovely Khmer-French dinner.
All in all - a fine day.
Tomorrow, we're off to Angkor Wat and the other temples.
G'night! :)
