After a horrible flight (thank you, Niki), we landed in Vienna and checked-in our hotel at 9:00, which was nice.
However, we were so tired, we spent a couple of hours in the room, though we were too tired to sleep.
The hotel is a nice 4* hotel and our Club room is nice. Not the luxury hotels we're used to from Asia, but decent. :)
A Facebook buddy who lives in Vienna surprised us and dropped by on his way to work. That was nice. :)
We then started exploring the part of the city, close to the hotel - the Karl church and square, the Royal opera house, where we took a great toor and the Belvederre palace and gardens, which was also nice.
In the evening we met friends for a drink and had a stroll in the old town.
We returned to the hotel DEAD tired after almost 48 hour without sleep.
Although both of us caught a cold, we fell asleep immediately.
Tomorrow we're off to explore the heart of Vienna. :)
