Ok we haven't got much to write about for Malaysia because we weren't here that long and were just passing through. We passed the Thailand/Malaysian border with minimal effort which was nice for a change and headed to a place called Georgetown. It was really nice here and it had a Dutch colonial fort which was good to explore (and mess around a bit!). The hostel was awful after where we had just been staying in Thailand and the rooms were just sectioned off with partitions. We made sure we didn't lean on it in case it fell through! It was also a shared bathroom, which appeared to be a common thing here in Malaysia. We didn't end up staying in Malaysia for too long because we wanted to get to Indonesia, so we headed to Kuala Lumpur.
This was a really great city and we loved it here. The Petronas Towers were amazing and we got some really nice photos of them. We were staying in China Town and got some great fakey fakey goods! It was just a shame we didn't have more money because they were really good quality and there was loads of choice. We had a lot of street food here as it was really busy at night, although we did find a Nandos and treated ourselves!
That is basically everything we did in Malaysia, shop and eat and then we got a flight to Jakarta in Indonesia. Ok we did have a drama (obviously!) where we went to the wrong airport and no taxi would take us coz we were in departures, so we had to get in a guy's car, but apart from that we were drama free!
