The metro is a great way to get from
Point a to point b and I am proud to say that I have mastered both the metro and the buses around Paris. Today we got off at a station called Tuileries and as soon as we got up to the street we were astounded by the wonderful sights of the Jardin des Tuileries.
The first place we looked in was where I had to stay as it was just breath taking - Musee de L'Oranerie. The huge paintings that Monet was inspired to paint are awesome and a must see. What a great way to see and feel a part of the painting - it almost seems that you are walking beside the lake and strolling along the banks! Then downstairs there is another collection of paintings by Cezanne, Renoir, Picasso, Rousseau, Matisse and with the head set on I was set back in time just appreciating what was taking place in the world during the late 1800s.
Next was the Musee D'Orsay - just the greatest collection of art treasures seen in my life - even saw Van Gough's works! So much talent in one place during one time in history!
