June 5 -7, 2015 Vaal dam We awoke to a frosty morning, full of anticipation for our 4x4 driving adventure. A local recreational area (a disused quarry that has been turned into a lovely picnic area & lake) also has a very challenging 4x4 driving track. June 1 - 4, 2015 Gauteng & surrounds I was welcomed at Oliver Thambo airport by Ray & Darrell after an uneventful but long day.
