I arrive early in Beijing and got picked up from the airport by some one from the Hostel. Getting to the hostel was a bit scary they are crazy drivers. Also my hostel The Red Lantern Hostel was down a back alley which didnt look all that great. So checked in they dont take credit cards just cash so i could pay for my room i had to go and withdraw the money from the cash points. O MY GOD they were hard to find lol.

So got to my room which was a million miles away from the reception and went for a walk to find bits and bobs for example sim card for my mobile and pay phones. No one seemed to want to help me.

That night i began to relise this wasnt for me and i could handdle staying here. I had to leave. Nobody in the hostel spoke English and nobody wantted to try and help me. :(

I rang home and got them to change my flights ASAP and thank god it was.

I decide i had to make the most of my time that i had in china until my flight so i booked to go to the great wall the next day.

Found it really hard to sleep i think i was jet lagged and this made matters worse.
