We hit the road this morning at 7:15 and 81 degrees with clear skies and headed for Baton Rouge, the capitol of Louisiana...but you knew that, of course. The drive took us through bayou country with roads raised over the water that go on for miles without relief. This was a long travel day. And since we failed to remember that we would lose an hour, we had to keep moving…no time for dawdling today, and that, unfortunately translates to no photo taking.
