A very cold welcome to all from New Zealand, hope every1 is well and dont worry its not long till we`re back, however there is one minor problem at hand, we just thought we should iterate the fact that we will be getting the train to Guildford station from Heathrow and we will be walking from the station home, luggage included. Those who live just outside the vacinity of Merrow and surrounding areas will be delived home asap, just sit tight and embrace your urges. Its only and extra 2hrs, 0.051% of the time we`ve been away. We feel it is needed to complete our trip! Regards James xxxx

Wow Jack, that was a long blog - great to hear from you again after a long time. So glad everything is still going well - I just can't imagine how you are going to settle down again when you finally come home - bet it will feel strange. All is well here and can't wait to show you my new 'pad' - Emma likes it anyway - says it would just suit her!! (She should be so lucky!) Anyway, carry on all of you having the time of your lives. We all miss you loads but it is great to see what a wonderful time you are having. Take care and loads of love. Nana xxx

The boys spent an evening (and stayed the night ) with my old secretary and family in Auckland a couple of days ago. She wrote me a lovely e mail in which she said "we had a really lovely time, what a great bunch! All their Mums and Dad's should be very proud".
So feel proud!!!!

Thursday 12 JuneWell it's taken a while and you'll be back soon BUT Hello all you Guy's down there from Jame's Ole Man…… and to James of course. You probably know James and I have spoken quite regularly on the phone and txt, hence the size of his and my phone bills! Just before James left I said to him what about communication? Dad let's face it I'll probably forget so lets agree 'no news is good news' well how mature of him coz I really couldn't have asked for more communication. I so hope all you other Parents have had the same experience from your sons. THEY ARE REALLY ALL A REALLY GREAT BUNCH OF LADS AND THIS EXPERIENCE WILL STAY WITH THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES GOOD AND BAD.Hey Chaps what have been the bad bits? Come on spill the beans……….Well what's happening here? Andrew has his driving test on Monday. His mother and I have been taking him out and whilst his general driving is pretty good it's his technical manoeuvres that could let him down. Lets hope not and I know we ALL wish him well on Monday. Positive thoughts please from ALL. Well I'm still working North of the M25 but hoping to be moving closer to home on my next assignment. The industry is a bit tricky so I'll be looking for a 'safe haven' if one exists! No doubt James has been keeping you all abreast of Jon my racing driver. A fantastic brace of wins at Snetterton ( all be it a GT 40 got in the way in a one off drive) either check out the British GT 3 web site or www.jonbarnes.com Half way through the Championship and 16 points in the lead. We're off to Thruxton at the end of Juneand hoping for another brace of victories. I hope you'll be bringing back a whole list of sponsors James!Car still going well James. Just topped 203,000 miles and still uses little oil. I'll look after her for you! Susie & Peter are expecting a call from you and I haven't had a chance to quiz them on whether there is any work for you but I know they are very much looking forward to seeing you and whoever turns up.As you probably know the weather has been very god at the beginning of the week but by Saturday we'll it'll be pants. Here's hoping for good weather for you in New Zealand.Well Chaps it's 11 pm so I'll sign off and wish you all a safe & speedy return to the UK whenever that will be.Best wishes to you all and obviously my eldest Son down there. All our luv James from your ole man, Andrew, Aunite Alicia, Neil and all down in Hove. Safe passage son…. X X X X missing you

Thank you Liam for your two Blogs and the heartfelt comments about our boys. We are indeed proud of them. As a parent we try to give our children the starting blocks in life; it's your choice what you do with them and it seems that you're all doing pretty well. Your friends make your world and when you look back on this fantastic experience, you'll treasure your unique cameradie. Happy days! Love to you all. Fiona x
