Cannot believe you stayed in the lovely Shangri-lai,must have been such a treat to have a bit of luxuary! Bill I am assuming you have lost or broken your phone as we haven't heard from you for so long and you haven't returned any txts messages. I think it is important that you have a phone, surely they're not too expensive out there? You must be in Bali now, don't forget Malaria tabs if you go to Lombok and please do not go off on your own - that was really silly!

Had a busy weekend, Phil was 50 had a big party at his house got home at 3am, dreadful hangovers this morning. Your cousin Robert got married last week to Angie! Still freezing cold here, can't wait for some warm weather. Please take care, we think of you all the time.

Just come back from Iceland - well worth the effort! The scenery fantastic - food so so. Hope that you are all well and also becoming experienced travellers as I am becoming an experienced blogger!

Hi Jack and boys. sounds your having an eventful time. Glad you got to use your cooking skills. We have just got back from Paris. Every one did really well in the marathon. Derek came first out of the group with 3 and half hours. Rusty came in at 3 hrs 50, Dad and matt were 3 hrs 56 and Matt Cobbett was not far behind. They all did brilliantly but now all have funny walks. Its very amusing. We were very lucky with th weather as there was snow here but we had cold clear days. Hope you can put some new photos up soon. Its great to see all of you and what your up to. (of sorts) Missing you loads Jack especially in Paris when All the extended family were there (the Paynes). Dear Nick great to speak to you this morning even if it was 6am. Seems like your phone has recovered from the oil bath. So you are having a bit of luxury 5star!! don't blame you. I hope the train is better that the one you went to Chang Mia in!! Sounds like some of the places you have stayed in were a bit rough!! Ben.....and all your crazy mates, looks and sounds like you are having the time of your lifes! Just a note to say that yesterday (Sunday) was the first time I've had the chance to look at this site and check on your progress We were round at Keith and Clare's house. Dad had his laptop connected to the TV in the kitchen, so that we could all crowd round and look at the pictures...Grandad Jack, Susie and her kids and me with my two little ones..............absolutely brilliant......although some of the kids couldn't work out why those girls had wet t-shirts on!
