Hi there everyone, well we arrived in Vietnam 2 nights ago which was a bit scary at first cos we had no where to stay and no idea of how to get into Hanoi. But it all worked out and yesterday we went on a beautiful cruise around halong Bay which is absolutely breathtaking. We slept the night on the junk too in a beautifully done little cabin and had amazing seafood for dinner and lunch again today. it was so much fun. Catching the overnight train (in a 6 sleeper cabin) to Hue and Hoi An where we'll be for a couple of days and then on to Na Trang and finally Ho Chi Min City. Still don't have much of a tan tho cos the weather up North is much cooler than in the south. Looking forward to a few weeks on the beach in south Thailand later on. Will be in touch again soon. nix
