Well! Welcome to the second leg of our trip... after a brief five week period back home, Lucy and I began our next stage on the 1st Sept. We started in Tahiti where we stayed in Moorea, a small island off the mainland - it was beutiful but very, very quiet - most of the bars and restaurants shut at 10 so we are craving some nightlife... Next stop Rarotonga - a tiny island in the South Pacific and part of the the group of Cook Islands - far superior beaches to that of Tahiti's and an altogether friendlier atmosphere too. We are staying at a wicked lil place called Backpackers International Hostel but this is for one night only as we're on our way to Fiji tomorrow... not much to report at the moment but I'll keep you all updated no doubt.
