Good Morning Angels
I hope you have had a restful start to the year and that you are full of energy and raring to go.
I have a feeling that you're going to like your next mission. It has the right amount of excitement, danger and philanthropy to keep you on your toes. So here goes ...
14 countries, 8 days, 1 mission ... to raise £2,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust to build a state-of-the-art unit at a recognised centre of excellence, the Royal Marsden Hospital.
How do you do this? Well, you buy a cheap car, do it up beyond all belief, get in fancy dress, then drive in convoy, to a far away place, and simply leave the car at your destination, get on a plane, and fly right home. Stick together, have big parties, shout, sing, dance and drink a lot (but don't drink and drive)
Think you can do it? I know you can ... The mission kicks off on the 25th of May 2012 from Brighton so as you know, we need to work to ensure all the preparation has been in place to result in successful completion. We don't have long and its a big task, but we shall get there. I can't promise you won't breakdown everyday, sit for hours waiting for help, encounter werid locals or dodgy cops - but I can guarantee a collection of anecdotes you'll be telling the grandkids (that is if either of you ever get around to finding a suitable boyfriend!)
I'm attaching a link to the website for our target so you may have a look and get a feeling of the scope and nature of the task ahead. http://www.dumball.org/
And remember girls, I am always with you
