Sweet as! Hey guys, so am in New Zealand now! Australia was awesome and sooooo hot that I was actually melting....well not really melting but felt like I was! ha ha.
Got to New Zealand a week ago and have done sooooo much already that it feels like I've been here for a month! New Zealand is like the extreme sport country! U can do any extreme sport here, it's crazy!! So far already I've been white water rafting on a grade 5 river and over a 7 meter waterfall, which is the highest waterfall you can white water raft over in the world! pretty cool hey! I did fine over the smaller waterfalls and managed to stay in the raft but obviously I fell out of the raft over the 7 meter waterfall, ha ha! Was great tho and once I was out of the waterfalls pulls i was just bobbing up and down thinking 'ah, it's not so bad falling out the raft...la la la...' and everyone in the other rafts were shouting 'grab the rope and pull ur self back in!' I was like, 'oh right yeah, sorry! best get back in to the raft!'. Ha ha!
Then I went black water rafting at 8:00 in the morning! Blah! Had never even heard of Black water rafting before. Basically, we had these rubber tyre things and used them to jump down small waterfalls and push ourselfs through PITCH BLACK underground caves!!! At one point we were 65 feet underground! It was awesome, but sooooo cold as the water has been underground for so long and doesnt get any sunlight, freeezzzing!!! After a coupla hours my hands and feet were frozen and totally numb! Was amazing tho as the caves were covered in glow worms. Quite a sight, like little stars all above us......
Then, on the same day as being 65 feet under ground, I decided to go 12000 feet above ground and did my first (and last! ha ha!) ever skydive! Woo hoo!!! It's the craziest thing ever! I was pumped and coulndt wait to go, and then as I was falling (for 45 seconds! Freefall for 45 seconds is crazy!) I was thinking, 'um...WHY?!' ha ha! Did this sky dive over Lake Taupo, which is the size of Singapore! The falling sensation is just the craziest thing ever and totally weird!
So, coz that wasn't enough, i went Lugeing, which is basically were we get a go-cart type thing and go 65kph plus down narrow windy lanes! ha ha, madness! So cool tho!
I've also been for a 2hour walk near Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings, up close and personal with some bubbling mud hotpools, and bubbling steaming hotpools, stayed in Sulpher city (and held my nose!), seen sheep being sheared by a champion sheep shearer as New Zealands are apparently the best sheep shearers in the world, ha ha! Seen a huge rabbit being sheared....odd...don't ask! Seen the Hurricanes V the Bulls play rugby at their home ground in Wellington, and seen numerous Lord of the rings sights; hobbiton, Mount Doom, fight scene lands etc!
New Zealand is truely a gorgeous country which keeps u fully entertained! Sweet as! ha ha xx
