Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!!

The bus schedule may have been nonexistant due to the parade, but that didn't stop us! We made it into Dublin by train (ahh another train) and found our way to the parade on the other side of the city from what we say yesterday.

Once Ashley and I found a spot, we basically camped out since it was probably as close as we were going to get. We made some friends from California, I wore my green Phillies shirt so for those who recognized it I didn't even have to speak to stick out as an American. They were studying in England for an entire year and made their way to Dublin for the parade.

The costumes in the parade were really extravagent, it reminded me a lot of Cirque Du Soleil. I may be making this up, but I'm thinking that was the theme of the parade. After an hour of waiting, we did find out we were standing at the end of the route, but it was well worth the wait.

I can't believe how many people were in the city today. So many people out in their various greens all celebrating together, it was a great experience.
