Some people go to Europe for the history. Others go to experience the culture. We are going for the food and wine. Maybe we will see a few old buildings along the way.
Finally, we are going on our belated honeymoon. This will be my third European Adventure however this will be Scott's first introduction. In hopes that he will love Europe as much as I do, we picked this trip so he could fulfill one of his dreams, a visit to France's Chateauneuf du Pape. The region of course wh…

We are excited, Kerry got a job yesterday, Tuesday. She started today. We are putting Gr. F in charge of the dog. He will be in training with me tomorrow.

This is a very old and famous Hotel,the one i worked in is a few blocks to the right of the picture.Yea dont have a beer at the Negresco .....very expensive.

We missed the Pisa on our trip, much to my dismay, so will enjoy the pics. Also, we traveled in March, so didn't notice the heat on the trains. Enjoy and shop, shop, shop! Savor every moment!

Off to Italy--molto bene! I remember thinking we knew enough Italian to go in to a deli in a small town and buy picnic stuff! We had fun, and the butcher was terrific! We tried, so he tried back...

Well... it looks like Scott loves Europe as much as you do! So how many bottles of wine are you packing/shipping home??? I just picture the UPS guy showing up at you house with 10 huge boxes...All wine. I love you both and keep having a blast! P.S This is a cool website! Hi mom and dad Haywood!

_So far we are doing well and holding back. Fortunately is costs a fortune to ship wine home and we do not want to lug it around from city to city. Currently only one bottle of wine and a huge bottle of Dijon mustard. :)

Im just showing Jules and melissa pictures and we all loving it.Did you rent bikes? Kind of hard to ride after a few wine-tastings?
-Yep we rented bikes for the day in Beaune, we biked for 9 hours in all, of course we had to stop and taste wine along the way when we got tired. Julie would have been proud of us.
Merry Carol this sidewalk art is just amazing. Also, the church--I think I took at least 20 of the same church. I loved the colors.
