We woke up early this morning because we wanted to do the louvre before we had to checkout of our hotel! We got in at 9:30 and went straight for the Mona Lisa, it was ok it is very small. I don't get why it is so famous though in a whole museum of 1 billion paintings why is it so great? Just because he forgot to put eyebrows on it? Anyway I really enjoyed the ancient Egyptian section it was well done with lots of history.

All too soon it was time to leave and go collect our limited amount of belongings from our hotel. The amount of times we have been asked if we have bags since we lost them has been comical! The airport ran fairly smooth and we caught the Paris flight on time and it was only running 30 minutes late.

We both tried to stay awake for this trip the best we could. We arrived at Doha at nearly midnight and it was a horrid windy 35 degrees!!!! This place is nuts it will never be on my travel destination list! Unless I can have a full body cool suit! Our transfer was quick, out one gate and straight through another and we were on the long flight! This flight we slept!!!!! 2 sleeping pills each and I have not slept better! Thanks Shelley! We arrived in Melbourne and through customs quick fast. Mum and Karen were waiting for us once we got out the gate and it was a good feeling to know we had made it back to the lucky land ( thank you mum and Karen for picking us up, we really did not need another trip to do at that point)! We went back to mums had a quick chat and then drove to Bendigo to finally sleep in our nice bed.

After checking the house it seems my laptop was stolen plus one of my tool boxes, luckily all of Chelsea's stuff has already been stolen so she didn't lose anything ;)
