We spent three days cleaning ALL the stuff out of the basement and garage with Helena. It is absolutely crazy to see the damage that was done to this town! The restoration company will be coming in a few days to suck out all the sewage sludge and water still left in the basement and garage. They will also rip out the drywall and insulation as well as sterilize both. Luckily it sounds like Helena will be fully insured as sewage backup is what caused all the damage! It's going to be awhile before this town gets back to normal but it's great to see how this town (and Southern Alberta in general) have come together in this time of devastation!
