I am confused. You start by selpling out the downside of mandatory uniform testing (forced by the government) then go on to blame the for profit testing companies (because the government isn't regulating them enough) and conclude by telling us how all of this might lead to the dangerous outcome of more charter schools and for profit schools (which wouldn't be as impacted by the same government standardized testing you are so against). Why not just argue for less government involvement in education and more parent and community involvement?I dislike these testing companies as much as anyone, but the sole reason they exist is our government policies. I would love to see their profits diminish as well, which is why I would send the protesters to City Hall and Washington.
