Paris has been nothing but a series of WOWS. These past couple of days have been great, even though the hostel hasn't. I am consistently struggling w/ bad internet… oh well. Yesterday was sight after sight! So much has happened in the past couple of days alone, it would almost be dumb to try and recount everything I saw, and repetitive to just keep on saying WOW with every event. But it was. Around every street, every grand boulevard, WOW. The French really know how to do things big. The Pantheon was WOW. Today, the Opera was WOW. I also had a long day at Versailles, which took all day to see about half of the gardens, and that was WOW. I did not go into the Chateau, because that cost an extra 10 or so euros, and so I decided to pass. It is mostly a museum to Napoleon, since that is what he turned it into, and also a museum to French art. The pictures I took describe it all, even though they cannot capture the splendor of what my eyes took in. I can only imagine if I actually had 20/20 vision, as opposed to my jacked up eyes. I would have been even more taken aback. This place is definitely a great vacation spot, but I can imagine it may not be a great place to live, just because in the real world, you have to work, and cannot play all day.
Paris has by far been the best city I have seen so far. While I have not even gone through half of my stops, I really like this place, and it has made a great vacation.
