Miami with the kids was great, but also tough. Sianna is in full toddler swing, and she wore me out! It is not the physical exhaustion as much as the mental exhaustion. You always have to keep a track of her, as she is always running around the place, and she wants to do something different every 5 minutes. Nothing can hold her attention for longer than that, and if you get her doing one activity, like watching TV longer than that, then you really have seen the providence of God. She is for the most part a good little girl, and grows cutter every day, and looks more like my sister every day. When she is not a good girl, she has little tantrums over little things, as all children do. We had a magic show, that was pretty cool. Also, she has this awesome backyard park, with swings, and a little house, and a surfboard, and I taught her to say kowabunga on the surf board. It was super cute.
Little Aiden is super cute, and is such a happy baby. All this time, I think I had been jaded by Sianna, because she was a bit of a crier when she wasn't being held by her parents. She was very… dramatic. Then Abby came along, and she was much more mellow. I figured that maybe every baby is NOT like Sianna, and rather that Sianna was an example of an extreme. Aiden has certainly confirmed that, being another example of an extreme: easy, happy babies. I was there for 5 days, and I can count the number of times Aiden cried on my hand. Really, I wouldn't even need my entire hand for that. He looks a lot like Dwight, and has a prominent nose, but I definitely see a good amount of Hyatt in him.
Well, my time on the road comes to a close, as I am writing this blog from my home in CA, recounting the events of a great trip. Now, it is time to get settled, and start real life.
All in all, it's good to be back!
