I have uploaded some pictures of the University of Wisconsin, where I study. I also put some of Milwaukee, where I lived. I am very excited because my trip is less than 2 months away! I just booked my ticket to Seoul. If you are planning on a trip abroad, be sure to check out student discount sites such as statravel.com or studentuniverse.com. There are also discounts especially for students if you are a member of a rewards program for miles with a particular airline. I know Lufthansa has one, https://generationfly.com/. All you need is a valid edu email address.
I am also meeting with a girl who studied abroad in France to talk about what to pack and what to leave behind. A year is a long time, and I have to make sure to plan accordingly. One of her tips is to remember to pack appropriate clothing to the climate when you arrive and don't forget to check the average temperature when you will be at the end of your time abroad. Clothing is probably not too big of a worry, it is always fun to shop and explore the brands and styles in your destination. For right now, I am still getting some other things ready, but I will keep you updated.
