So, the idea behind this amazing adventure we're about to do was formed, not even a year ago whilst sharing a bottle of rose in a bar in the Big Smoke, me and Claire-Lou were thinking about what we wanted to do next…the trip has escalated from a mere three month trip travelling South America to a six month (at the moment!) global adventure…and we've managed to convince our wee Anne-Marie to join in the fun!
The current POA sees us leave our comfortable homes in Leeds, attempt to put our backpacks on our backs (they will no doubt be very heavy despite minimal shoes!) and jump on a plane to Thailand on 1 May…we're then chasing the sun through Malaysia, Singapore, Oz, Fiji, a brief stop in New Zealand and then off back round West again to South America. The world is our oyster!!
We thought this travel blog would be a good way for all our friends and family to keep an eye on what we're up to and to make sure we're still alive, not been sold into white slavery or thrown into a Thai prison (touch wood!)…Read and see the photos of what happens when three girls flee the nest and leave all the home comforts and ways of life to become world-wide travelling chicks! Who knows what lies ahead, what scrapes we're going to get into and just how many freckles we'll grow between us! We promise to make this interesting so that our experiences and encounters around the world will be fun for you all to read and endeavour to fill it with funny anecdotes from the journeys we take, the places we see and most importantly, the people we meet.
