Indian Hangover
This entry is going to rather short! In a few words, yesterday I did practically nothing! I woke up at about 9am feeling quite rough an extremely thirsty and had no water but before I could venture up to the restaurant to buy a bottle, I was in such a state a had to shower first! Afterwards water in hand I lazed in bed with the telly on (if you think i was wasting time in this beautiful country, I was still absorbing the Indian culture through means of watching Hindi tv!), At about 1pm, belly rumbling, I set out in a rickshaw to find a McDonalds because I was dying to try a McChicken Maharaja, oh and it was goooood! Was also quite amusing to see how clean and decent a McDonalds is here, I guess because in India compared to local cuisine it's quite expensive and only those who can afford it go there and they doormen too! After I started to walk in the direction of the hotel with more tv and bed in mind and also wanted to upload some photos from the last few days, but on the say popped into a big Levis store on the road. Just for the fact that is was air conditioned and lovely and cool inside was a good enough reason for taking as much time as possible browsing but then I did buy a couple of things because I felt like I had a distinct lack of choice when dressing every morning t-shirt wise and grabbed a couple of bargains and a new pair of boxers thrown in for good measure, all this came to less than £15! Wish I had more room in my bag and probably going to have to buy a bag to send to OZ by the time I have finished my bargain hunting in South East Asia.
Back at the hotel I pretty much did as planned and faffed about on my laptop and by the time dinner came around, I wasn't too into sitting up in the busy restaurant so I just ordered food to my room. I also thought I better get some rest and a good nights sleep before my last day in Jaipur as I was going to have to make up for my lazy day sightseeing wise and had already arranged to be picked up by a rickshaw driver at 9am! I ended my evening by watching the Indian equivalent of 'you've been framed' (people falling over is hilarious in every language) and went to sleep.
