Caught the metro, then a short bus ride up to Griffith Observatory just behind our hotel in the Hollywood Hills. Drove thru a neighborhood called Los Feliz, Spanish architecture and the most amazing trees and landscape set at the foot of the Hollywood Hills. The views from the observatory were breathtaking, on a clear day you can see all the way to Santa Monica.
Our hotel is in the perfect spot for us to catch the metro, local bus or tourist buses, finding our way around easily, $1.50 wherever you want to go, and 50 cents on the dash bus to Griffith Observatory, but the helpful lady at the metro asked us if we were seniors cause the fare is 25 cents....gettin facelift when I get home..lol
Lunch today was at this old Italian restaurant we found couple of days ago called Miceli's, food fantastic again, Rob now having a nana nap, he soo good at that, but he is really enjoying himself.

Jenni Watching closely your wonderful trip. Rob seems pretty relaxed ( nanna naps ha ha). Its a whole new world isnt it? But one you feel like you have watched on tv all your life. Keep up the good work Rhonda, love reading what you are both up to. Jen
Regan Noice photo mum ;) you don't look like no bloody senior to me.. XXXX
Rhonda Thanx Jen, he is having good time, we both are, and you are right, it is like we have been here before through the tv, and thanx munchkin, good to know cause they all think we seniors ova here..lol
Aileen You have to remember Rhonda all their seniors look younger over there as they are constantly having surgery to look as young as we do naturally.
Bernadette Lovely photo Rhon, senior...not..lol. Is that the Hollywood Sign in the far background? I read this ages ago about the Hollywood Sign Rhon.. **The sign was first erected in 1923 and originally read "HOLLYWOODLAND". Its purpose was to advertise the name of a new housing development in the hills above the Hollywood district of Chinatown** I know you love Trivia :-)
