With one last day in Amsterdam, we so badly wanted to rent bicycles and take pictures all over the city. We woke up to wind and rain which canned those plans, but it didn't stop us from getting out there and enjoying the day. We had a couple places in mind we still wanted to see, so first up was Dam Square. This is a big open space surrounded by old beautiful buildings that I couldn't tell you the first thing about. (This is Sarah writing...just kidding). Pigeons swarmed this place bc I'm sure they've been enjoying living off tourists for ages. We got close to them an after some coaxing, Sarah got her first pigeon on her arm...then two on her arm. Then a few more came in and the "pigeon master," (a guy who puts bird seed in his mouth and lets them eat out of his mouth), put some seed on Sarah's head which made for some great pictures! It was my turn and I got the same treatment from the birds, which was fun. We hung out in this square for a while people watching, talking with other travelers and just enjoying the sites. We walked for a bit and stopped by some shops, and knowing we had to be up early in the morning, we grabbed dinner and some drinks and kept it a low key night. Enjoy the pics! (Spoiler alert: we're in Berlin, Germany right now and this place rules!)
