Woke up to fresh baked muffins and hard boiled eggs. Family style breakfast and our last meal in the states. So the journey begins and does the flying, flying, and more flying! Looking forward to my first passport stamp!

the medicine that is. I am reunited with my fellow education majors, Nora and Jen. We all met at Nora's house and after several hours of packing and weighing and re-packing and weighing and repacking some more we have over 150lbs of supplies combined! Other things on the to-do list tonight: feast on Chicago style Pizza, last minute trip to Walmart, one or two panic attacks and taking our malaria medication! Now it's off to bed to prepare for our long two days ...
In exactly one week I will be on board one of the many airplanes headed to Entebbe, Uganda, Africa. Two days on an airplane is probably the thing I am looking forward to the least... although I am thankful I now know what that experience is like. Things TO DO before I leave... 1. Finish packing- Which I'm sure will entail unpacking and repacking several times. I feel that I am simultaneously packing too much and not enough. Not exactly sure how that works......
