Home, to family, friends, & 3 1/2 year old "puppies". Dublin & Blarney were beside themselves when we came through the door.
As usual, we were in the ferry lineup for about an hour and were amongst the last 10 cars on.
One poor guy 2 cars ahead of us in the lineup went to start his car and it wouldn't start. We had to go around him and head down to see if we'd be getting on or not. As it turned out he got his car going and was the last car allowed onto a full ferry (Coastal Renaissance).
In the cafeteria poor Joanne had to put up with our antics. Jess was feeding me her ice cream via spoon while I made out like Dublin grabbing it off her spoon. One of those "feedings" resulted in ice cream escaping my grip while Jess tried to wrestle her spoon back. This caused the ice cream that had been in my mouth to fall to the table which was apparently hilarious to a 12 year old girl and a 15 year old boy.
Great being home, but had a great vacation too!
Thanks to Britnie (home between UBC sessions) for Dog Sitting at our place.
