This is Eric Satie's museum in the house where he was born.

Beautiful harbor, often painted by the impressionists. Town is built around it. Again spent time wandering around town and into museums. A great one was the Eric Satie a composer. Each room represented a time in his life and the head sets ran with narration and music when ever you moved to a different spot.

Yew drove to Mont St. Michael on the way to Honfleur. Rain all day, but was worth the visit. This is an Island, the bottom is a fortress the middle a city and the top an Abby. It was a prison during the French Revolution but now it is hotels and shops and restaurants and still a religious order on top. Dad said he had a religious experience being there.

This Omaha beach where the Americans landed on D day. The beach goes on for miles with markings of where the different countries landed.
