Scarlet Penaloza

Namaste Everyone! I will be traveling to New Delhi, India for a month to do volunteer work with children in the daycare and pre-school for a month. I’ve always dreamed of volunteering in a third world country and I'm very excited to share this experience with you all! I choose India because I was intrigued with their serene people, zesty food, phenomenal culture, and religion. I think there is no better way to experience and see the world then through doing volunteer work! India is the second most populated country in the world with major issues of poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment. I will have firsthand experience in some of the biggest problems facing this part of the world and be of the solution by getting involved.
